Buddy Loyd is better known around the River Valley as Buddy the Builder. He started in the 1970s and has more than fifty years on the job. L&L Development puts up energy-efficient, structurally honest houses for first-time buyers, growing families, and empty nesters.

Kyle Loyd is the fourth generation. He works the jobs with Buddy. Together they build in East Village, the 250-home Greenwood subdivision Buddy helped bring in so the city would have something that was not cookie-cutter, and on custom lots across the River Valley.
